Chief Executive Officer

Avi has spent the last decade as a business development and strategic planning consultant, working with private and publicly-traded healthcare companies and helping them gain an in-depth understanding of their markets, while while providing insight on what investors look for and how they think. In addition to being an expert "connector", Avi excels in taking early and late stage healthcare startups to the next level, leveraging his extensive network, knowledge and experience. A native New Yorker, Avi's expertise is in helping startups reach their target markets and helping young companies expand and develop.

Jonathan Ringo, MD

Chairman of the Board

With 20 years of experience in medicine and hospital administration, Dr. Ringo is the CEO & Founder of Verappo Telehealth. Previously, he served as the President of Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, as well as SVP at LifeBridge Health. During his tenure at LifeBridge, he was responsible for the Physician Enterprise, all Value-Based Care programs, and led one of the most successful provider-led ACOs in the country. He is also a Board-Certified OB/GYN.

Dolev Melamed, MBA-H

Vice President

Dolev joined CalleoHealth with a healthcare MBA and over 14 years of experience in healthcare management and international business development in the American and international markets. After completing an Administrative Fellowship in Operations at Ochsner Health in New Orleans, she went on to manage Ochsner's International Department, overseeing operations and international business development. For over 4 years now, she has been diving into healthcare innovation, working with healthcare startups and supporting them in entering the US market. Born in Israel and raised in the United States, Dolev is trilingual (English, Hebrew, Spanish) and has an insatiable passion for helping people and businesses.

Sarah A. Ellis

Vice President, Business Development

Sarah has over 15 years of experience in international business development and global strategic management working with startups and publicly-traded companies. With a proven track record of managing a sales force, Sarah has formed synergistic partnerships to help startups penetrate new markets and generate growth revenue. Sarah holds a BS in biology with a pre-med emphasis, and double minors in chemistry and psychology, along with over 7 years of experience working in US healthcare. Sarah is an “Army Brat” born and raised in the United States, later moving as an adult to Israel and now living in Abu Dhabi. She is passionate about healthcare and helping people, and focused on bringing the most innovative healthcare solutions to the US market.

Mark Miles

Vice President, Sales & Operations

Mark brings 20+ years of experience as a senior sales leader within the medical device, RCM and healthcare industries with organizations including Verustat, SleepMed, Ingenious Med, and Fern Health. He has worked in both start-up and large organizations with a focus toward building and developing sales teams to grow revenue, develop new markets, and streamline operations while developing strong distribution channel partnerships. Mark graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in Business Management.
